Medical doctors at The Foot Institute – Calgary Sunpark provide services for the medical and surgical treatment of the ankle and foot. Our doctors put in an average of ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in reality various podiatry programmes are located within these institutions. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Doctors have acquired wide-ranging healthcare training with an importance on difficulties pertaining to the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are qualified to manage problems ranging from common afflictions such as ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are much more obscure for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
