Our podiatrists spend approximately a decade in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles traditional medical school and actually many podiatry programs are located within these institutions. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.
