They spend around 10 years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles traditional medical school and in fact various podiatry programmes are located within these academic institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 - 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have gained wide-ranging healthcare education with a stress on conditions involving the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are skilled to manage issues varying from conventional afflictions such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are even more intricate for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at the Foot Institute have comprehensive surgical training which furnish them the experience crucial to perform surgery on those complications that are best treated through surgical treatment.
