Podiatric Medical School is similar to standard medical school and various podiatry programs are contained inside these schools. Upon securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have obtained extensive medical education with a main focus on problems involving the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are educated to deal with problems extending from usual ailments like ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are even more perplexing including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have considerable surgical instruction which provide them the prior experience crucial to execute surgery on those issues that are ideally managed through surgical treatment.

Our Doctors furthermore have a thorough knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs experience as we walk, run or perform other activities.
