Our podiatrists put in an average of ten years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles typical medical school and various podiatry training programs lie within these schools. After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have acquired extensive health care training with an importance on complications concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are taught to care for concerns varying from familiar ailments for example, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are much more challenging for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have comprehensive surgical education which supply them the practical experience essential to conduct surgical treatment on those problems that are best treated through surgical treatment.

Our Doctors furthermore have an extensive expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs go through as we walk, run or perform other activities. Realizing biomechanics and gait problems makes it possible for a Podiatrist to create shoes and orthotics which can provide pain relief and protect against numerous troubles which the feet usually encounter.
