Foot Institute Doctors spend around 10 years in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to standard medical school and in fact many podiatry training programs are located inside these institutions. Upon achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have obtained substantial medical education with a main focus on concerns regarding the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are studied to deal with difficulties ranging from simple problems like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are much more intricate for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
