Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and in point of fact several podiatry programs are located within these schools. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received encompassing medical training with an emphasis on concerns pertaining to the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are studied to address complications extending from conventional afflictions such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more obscure such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
