Foot Institute Doctors spend approximately ten years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to standard medical school and in fact a number of podiatry programmes are contained within these institutions. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received thorough medical training with a stress on difficulties pertaining to the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are instructed to handle conditions ranging from normal ailments for instance fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are much more intricate like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
