They invest an average of 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact several podiatry training programs are located within these schools. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have obtained substantial medical instruction with an emphasis on issues concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are studied to deal with conditions extending from commonplace disorders for example, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are more challenging for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
