Our doctors spend about a decade in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact numerous podiatry programs are contained within these academic institutions. Upon receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 to 3 years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have obtained significant medical instruction with an importance on problems involving the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are trained to address complications extending from general disorders such as fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are far more challenging such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
