Foot Institute Podiatrists put in about a decade in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and a number of podiatry training programs are located within these academic institutions. Upon achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Foot doctors have obtained encompassing healthcare training with a focus on conditions regarding the ankles and feet. They are qualified to care for problems ranging from standard conditions for example, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are more intricate for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have extensive surgical instruction which provide them the experience vital to execute surgical treatment on those complications that are ideally handled through surgical treatment.

Our Doctors furthermore have a thorough practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs withstand as we walk, run or carry out other tasks.
