Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and various podiatry programs lie within these schools. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received significant health care instruction with an attention to on problems concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are taught to treat problems ranging from conventional problems for instance, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are far more intricate for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have substantial surgical training which furnish them the prior experience required to perform surgical treatment on those problems that are best remedied through surgical treatment.

Foot Institute Doctors likewise have an extensive expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs undergo as we walk, run or perform other activities.
