Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and in fact a number of podiatry training programs are contained inside these institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received extensive medical training with an emphasis on complications concerning the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are instructed to treat conditions stretching from normal conditions like ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are much more complicated like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
