Our doctors put in approximately ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to traditional medical school and as a matter of fact various podiatry programs are located within these schools. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have received encompassing medical education with an emphasis on conditions pertaining to the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are studied to treat issues extending from simple problems for instance, fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are even more complicated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have considerable surgical instruction which furnish them the skill vital to perform surgery on those troubles that are ideally managed through surgical treatment.

Our Doctors also have a thorough expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs undergo as we walk, run or perform other activities.
