Our doctors spend approximately 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to standard medical school and in fact several podiatry programs lie within these institutions. Upon getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received extensive healthcare training with an importance on issues involving the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are skilled to treat difficulties ranging from usual afflictions for instance, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are much more puzzling for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have extensive surgical instruction which supply them the prior experience necessary to perform surgery on those concerns that are best remedied through surgical treatment.

Foot Institute Doctors also have a thorough expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet withstand as we walk, run or perform other tasks.
