Grande Prairie Podiatrist & Foot Clinic

Doctors here at The Foot Institute – Grande Prairie focus on the surgical and medical treatment of the ankle and foot. Our doctors invest about 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and in fact several podiatry programs lie inside these institutions. Upon the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received comprehensive medical instruction with an emphasis on problems concerning the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are skilled to manage difficulties varying from simple disorders for instance, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are far more puzzling including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have comprehensive surgical training which provide them the expertise crucial to carry out surgery on those troubles that are best remedied through surgical treatment.

Foot Institute Doctors additionally have an extensive knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet undergo as we walk, run or perform other tasks.
