Our doctors devote approximately 10 years in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and as a matter of fact various podiatry training programs are contained inside these schools. Upon procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have received comprehensive medical instruction with an emphasis on concerns regarding the ankles and feet. They are instructed to handle concerns extending from typical ailments for example, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are much more challenging such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
