They spend approximately a decade in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and as a matter of fact numerous podiatry programmes are located within these schools. After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 - 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received wide-ranging healthcare training with an attention to on conditions concerning the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are trained to manage problems varying from typical ailments for instance, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are much more challenging for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
