Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and as a matter of fact several podiatry programmes are located within these schools. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received wide-ranging medical training with an emphasis on issues pertaining to the ankles and feet. They are instructed to address problems varying from basic disorders such as ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are much more perplexing like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have extensive surgical instruction which supply them the experience vital to conduct surgery on those concerns that are best treated through surgical treatment.
