At the completion of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have acquired encompassing medical instruction with a concentration on complications pertaining to the ankles and feet. They are instructed to manage complications stretching from typical ailments for instance, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are more puzzling like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have comprehensive surgical training which supply them the expertise necessary to conduct surgical treatment on those problems that are best treated through surgical intervention.

Foot Institute Doctors additionally have a thorough knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs receive as we walk, run or perform other activities. Learning about biomechanics and gait abnormalities enables a Podiatric doctor to develop shoes and orthotics which can deliver pain relief and defend against countless problems which the feet generally encounter.
