Podiatric Medical School is similar to typical medical school and in point of fact several podiatry training programs are located inside these schools. Upon acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric doctors have received thorough medical instruction with a stress on issues involving the feet and ankles. They are taught to deal with problems ranging from basic problems such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are far more perplexing including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
