Foot Institute Doctors invest approximately ten years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and in point of fact several podiatry programmes are contained inside these academic institutions. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received wide-ranging medical education with a stress on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles. They are instructed to manage conditions stretching from general problems like fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are a lot more challenging for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have extensive surgical education which provide them the experience necessary to conduct surgical treatment on those conditions that are ideally remedied through surgical intervention.
