Foot Institute Podiatrists invest about 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and several podiatry programmes are located inside these schools. Upon attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.

Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric physicians have received wide-ranging health care instruction with a concentration on complications pertaining to the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are trained to treat issues stretching from basic disorders like fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are far more challenging including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
