Grande Prairie Podiatrist & Foot Clinic

Medical doctors here at The Foot Institute – Grande Prairie focus on the medical and surgical therapy of the foot and ankle. Our podiatrists spend an average of a decade in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and in fact many podiatry programmes lie inside these institutions. At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have obtained thorough health care education with an attention to on issues pertaining to the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are studied to deal with problems varying from simple afflictions for example, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are even more challenging like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have thorough surgical training which provide them the prior experience vital to conduct surgical treatment on those problems that are best managed through surgical intervention.
