Foot Institute Doctors devote an average of a decade in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles regular medical school and in point of fact several podiatry training programs lie inside these academic institutions. Upon achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.
