Our doctors put in an average of 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in reality numerous podiatry training programs are contained within these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have received considerable health care instruction with an emphasis on problems concerning the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are trained to treat complications stretching from familiar afflictions for instance, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are more challenging such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
