Foot Institute Doctors invest approximately ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and in fact quite a number podiatry training programs are located within these institutions. Upon getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 to 3 years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Doctors have obtained encompassing medical training with an emphasis on concerns concerning the ankles and feet.
