Foot Institute Podiatrists spend an average of 10 years in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles regular medical school and as a matter of fact several podiatry programmes lie within these academic institutions. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have gained considerable healthcare training with an emphasis on problems regarding the ankles and feet.
