Our doctors devote approximately 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and in fact various podiatry programmes are located inside these institutions. After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

Upon the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received comprehensive medical instruction with a concentration on problems involving the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are studied to address conditions stretching from general disorders such as ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are more complex for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have extensive surgical training which supply them the experience required to execute surgery on those complications that are best remedied through surgical treatment.
