They devote approximately a decade in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.
