Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact several podiatry programs are contained within these academic institutions. Upon achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received extensive medical instruction with a stress on concerns involving the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are taught to manage complications extending from basic problems for example, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are a lot more sophisticated for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
