Our podiatrists spend about ten years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles traditional medical school and in fact a number of podiatry training programs are contained inside these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the conclusion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received thorough medical instruction with an attention to on problems regarding the feet and ankles. They are studied to manage difficulties ranging from simple afflictions like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are far more obscure for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
