After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Doctors have received extensive medical education with an emphasis on difficulties regarding the feet and ankles. They are taught to treat problems ranging from usual ailments such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are even more puzzling such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
