Our podiatrists spend around 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergrad studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to acquire a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to regular medical school and in point of fact various podiatry programs are located inside these institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

At the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric physicians have received encompassing medical education with a focus on complications concerning the ankles and feet.
