Our podiatrists invest an average of ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in fact several podiatry programmes are located within these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Doctors have received considerable medical instruction with a concentration on difficulties concerning the ankles and feet. They are educated to deal with problems stretching from usual problems for instance fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are a lot more obscure like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
