After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have gained significant healthcare training with a main focus on complications pertaining to the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are qualified to handle issues ranging from standard afflictions like fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are more perplexing including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have thorough surgical instruction which supply them the skill essential to perform surgical treatment on those conditions that are ideally treated through surgical intervention.

Our Doctors also have an extensive knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet undergo as we walk, run or perform other activities.
