After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the conclusion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric physicians have received extensive healthcare training with a concentration on problems involving the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are educated to care for issues ranging from normal conditions like ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are much more intricate such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at the Foot Institute have comprehensive surgical training which provide them the experience needed to perform surgical treatment on those problems that are best treated through surgical intervention.
