After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric physicians have gained thorough medical education with an emphasis on complications concerning the ankles and feet. They are instructed to treat concerns varying from conventional ailments such as ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are far more challenging such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
