Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and as a matter of fact various podiatry training programs are located inside these schools. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received substantial healthcare training with an emphasis on problems regarding the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are educated to treat concerns ranging from basic ailments such as fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are even more sophisticated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
