Our doctors invest approximately 10 years in education, the first four years in undergrad studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles general medical school and in point of fact many podiatry programmes are located within these institutions. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have obtained comprehensive health care education with a stress on problems pertaining to the ankles and feet.
