Foot Institute Podiatrists devote an average of 10 years in learning, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and a number of podiatry programs are contained within these institutions. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received considerable medical education with an importance on problems concerning the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are instructed to handle conditions extending from commonplace conditions for instance, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are even more sophisticated such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
