Physicians at The Foot Institute – Red Deer focus on the medical and surgical therapy of the foot and ankle. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to standard medical school and as a matter of fact several podiatry programs are contained within these academic institutions. Upon the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received comprehensive medical training with a stress on complications concerning the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are trained to care for complications varying from regular ailments for instance ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are much more complex for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have comprehensive surgical education which give them the experience crucial to perform surgery on those troubles that are best treated through surgical treatment.
