Foot Institute Doctors invest about 10 years in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in reality several podiatry programmes are located inside these academic institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have gained extensive health care training with a concentration on conditions regarding the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are qualified to handle difficulties varying from simple conditions for instance, fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are a lot more challenging including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
