They spend around ten years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to typical medical school and in reality many podiatry training programs are located within these schools. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have obtained thorough medical education with an attention to on issues regarding the ankles and feet.
