Our podiatrists devote an average of ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact quite a number podiatry programs lie within these academic institutions. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have gained considerable health care training with an importance on difficulties pertaining to the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are trained to handle conditions stretching from typical ailments for instance, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are much more puzzling for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
