Our doctors spend around ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and several podiatry training programs are contained inside these schools. Upon getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the conclusion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric doctors have obtained thorough healthcare instruction with an importance on problems regarding the feet and ankles. They are educated to manage difficulties varying from familiar disorders like ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are more puzzling for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at the Foot Institute have extensive surgical instruction which give them the prior experience essential to conduct surgery on those concerns that are best remedied through surgical treatment.

Foot Institute Doctors furthermore have a thorough expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet undergo as we walk, run or perform other activities.
