Our podiatrists devote an average of 10 years in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in point of fact a number of podiatry training programs are located inside these schools. After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.
