Dr.’s at The Foot Institute – Airdrie provide services for the medical and surgical treatment of the ankle and foot. They invest about ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and in point of fact various podiatry programmes are located inside these schools. Upon acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 - 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have acquired comprehensive medical training with an attention to on issues involving the ankles and feet.
