Our podiatrists invest about a decade in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and as a matter of fact several podiatry training programs are contained inside these schools. After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have acquired thorough medical training with an emphasis on difficulties pertaining to the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are trained to address problems extending from familiar problems for example, fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more complex for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
