Our podiatrists put in about 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to acquire a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and in reality several podiatry training programs lie within these schools. Upon securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have received extensive health care training with an attention to on issues concerning the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are trained to address problems extending from general problems for instance, fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are a lot more complicated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
